ExpoCereza Romeral 2021 lasted two days, was attended by authorities, exhibitors and local producers, and addressed various topics related to cherry production.
If there is one thing that characterizes Romeral, located in the province of Curicó, it is its close link with cherries. A significant part of the country's total production comes from this commune in Maule, which has made the cherry its emblem, even incorporating an important monument in the Plaza de Armas.
In this context, the municipality organized the ExpoCereza Romeral 2021 Seminar, an event held over two days in the town square and which was aimed at the community, but especially at farmers, companies and students in the agricultural sector.

Over the course of the two days, eight exhibitors from various fields related to the production, cultivation, exportation and services related to cherries provided current information to those who attended, and fifteen companies and businesses participated with stands in a fair of services and products related to this fruit that characterizes this commune in the Maule region.
In this regard, the mayor of Romeral, Carlos Vergara Zerega, thanked the participation of the entities and professionals who spoke, as well as the people who attended, since it was for them that the municipality, together with Prodesal Romeral and the Agricultural Productive Development and Productive Development Offices, organized this expository seminar.
“It is the first time that ExpoCereza has been held completely free of charge for the community, especially for farmers, for cherry growers,” concluded the Mayor of the commune, Carlos Vergara.
