Representatives of Viveros Copequén highlight the work carried out in Argentina: “We have been strengthening ties with producers from across the Andes”

Viveros Copequén, a renowned Chilean company dedicated to the production and marketing of fruit plants and trees, recently participated in the Second Early Cherry Seminar in Mendoza, Argentina.

During the event held on the other side of the Andes, Maritza Espinosa, an agricultural engineer and sales and after-sales manager for the company, shared her experience and talked about how ties with trans-Andean producers have been permanently strengthened.

“The participation of Viveros Copequén in the Early Cherry Seminar in Mendoza reflects its commitment to the development and dissemination of good agricultural practices, as well as its interest in establishing alliances and collaborations with other actors in the fruit sector in the region,” said the agricultural engineer.

Along the same lines, the professional indicated that, “this instance helps us to continue advancing in agricultural matters, because we have been working together with the Association of Nursery Farmers of Chile (AGV) and government entities of both countries and thus further strengthen the working guidelines.”

It should be noted that Viveros Copequén was the first nursery to carry out the export process of finished bare-root cherry plants.
