Tessenderlo Kerley International joins Smartcherry as a new strategic partner

Tessenderlo Kerley International (TKI) is a new partner of Smartcherry.cl, strengthening its commitment to innovation and sustainability in the cherry production industry in Chile.

The company is part of a global division of the Tessenderlo Group, specializing in chemical and agro-industrial solutions. The company is dedicated to the production and distribution of specialized fertilizers and crop protection products, with a strong focus on improving the efficiency and sustainability of agriculture. In fact, TKI is today the leading manufacturer of thiosulfate-based fertilizers in the world, operating globally to offer innovative solutions that optimize the use of resources, contributing to the development of the agricultural sector.

Tessenderlo Kerley’s long-term vision is to be a benchmark in the development of innovative solutions that improve cherry production. According to Marcela Ruiz, TKI representative in Chile, “this involves positioning our specialized fertilizers, based on thiosulfates and other technologies that optimize the use of nutrients and water, maximizing the yield and quality of cherries.”

What does it mean for Tessenderlo Kerley to become a partner of Smartcherry?

For Tessenderlo Kerley, joining Smartcherry as a partner represents a key strategic opportunity. This collaboration allows us to integrate our experience in nutritional solutions with the reach of Smartcherry, in an industry that is constantly growing in Chile. In addition, it offers us the possibility of making our knowledge available to producers, supporting them in making their plant nutrition programs more efficient.

Although TKI already has a broad global presence, the company is focused on adapting its products to local needs. “Our focus today is on collaborating with distributors and customers to ensure effective entry into new markets,” adds Ruiz.

The alliance with Smartcherry not only strengthens the position of both organizations in the agricultural sector, but also opens new opportunities to improve cherry production in Chile, through innovative and sustainable solutions.
