Fruit exporter Greenex announces a major upgrade in its cherry processing capacity for the upcoming season. In an effort to meet growing demand, the company would make a significant investment to increase its processing capacity by an impressive 80%.
This significant growth will translate into a greater number of kilograms of cherries that will be received and processed at its facilities. The company is preparing to receive an estimated 10 million kilograms of cherries in the upcoming season.
To achieve this increase in its processing capacity, Greenex has invested in cutting-edge technology from Unitec, a world leader in fruit sorting and sorting machinery. Specifically, the company will incorporate 16 Unitec lanes equipped with the innovative Cherry_Vision 3.0 technology, of which 12 will be for red cherries and 4 for bicolor cherries. This cutting-edge technology guarantees precise and efficient sorting of cherries, ensuring the highest quality in each batch.
This important step in the expansion of cherry processing capacity will strengthen Greenex's position in the international market and allow it to continue offering a top quality product to its customers around the world.
