The Plaza de Armas in the commune of Romeral, known for its close connection with this coveted red fruit, will be the setting for ExpoCereza 2022 for the second consecutive year, an event that will feature the presence of authorities, renowned exhibitors and local producers, and that will address different topics on cherry production. The event is on September 30 and October 1.
«From Romeral we planned the ExpoCereza as the first year in 2021 and this 2022 we want to make it bigger by inviting all the people linked to this cherry production; the cherry has been taking a fundamental role in the production and development not only of the commune of Romeral, of the province of Curicó, the Maule region, but of the entire country.", said Carlos Vergara, Mayor of Romeral.
The renowned national and international consultant specializing in cherry production and Technical Director of Avium, Carlos Tapia, is one of the confirmed exhibitors for the event.
«I am very pleased to receive this invitation to participate in ExpoCereza 2022. I think it is an excellent opportunity open to the community in a cherry-growing area, so it will be a great contribution.
