In a recent post on their Social Media, the Koppert Chile team shared that they recently met with the prominent cherry production specialist advisor, Walter Masman. At this meeting, held with the purpose of analyzing and learning from the 2023 cherry season, various key aspects of cherry cultivation were discussed.
During the meeting, Masman shared his experience and knowledge on the trends and challenges facing the cherry industry, based on an analysis and lessons learned from the recent campaign. In addition, the importance of applying biostimulants to promote healthier and more resilient cherry tree growth, as well as to increase crop productivity, was also particularly highlighted.
The exchange of ideas and collaboration between the Koppert Chile team and Walter Masman allowed for the identification of opportunities to improve production and management practices in cherry cultivation.
