Around 250 GTT® farmers from the regions of Valparaíso to Magallanes will attend the 18th GTT® National Meeting on June 30, July 1 and 2, organized by the GTT® Foundation at the Dreams Hotel in the city of Valdivia.
This edition will focus on “food security”. During the meeting, some of the most relevant innovations in this field will be presented, such as: disease and pest management, integrated water resource management, sustainable intensification of production, innovation in pasture and livestock management, changes in the consumer environment of the most demanding markets, etc.
Attendees will be able to enjoy presentations by experts in different fields, several success stories and the presence of companies that offer innovative technologies to optimize processes and increase production profitability.
For this reason, on January 9, Verónica Fernández, President of the GTT® Foundation, accompanied by Marcia Echenique, Treasurer-Controller of the GTT® Foundation, and Juan Pablo Matte, member of the Foundation's Board of Directors, met with the Minister of Agriculture and directors of different services of the Ministry of Agriculture, to invite them to this event and see the possibility of generating actions and lines of work together.
To date, the event has the support of several relevant companies in the sector such as Basf, Salfa, Agroriego Tattersall, Agroimec, Agrak, Victoria y Tres Hermanos, Ceres, Copeval, Agromillora, Tecno Verde and Agrofresh. These companies will exhibit their most innovative products and services to farmers.
