The Anasac and Avium teams had an interesting time when they met to exchange information on cherry production. In this context, we spoke with Monica Reveco, Product Manager for new and biorational products at Anasac, who spoke at length about the meeting.
- What was the purpose of the meeting?
«To give an overview of Anasac's powerful portfolio for cherry cultivation, focusing on the products and services that the company offers, highlighting the innovative and modern nature of many of our tools, which allows Anasac to combine the best traditional tools with the latest trends in control, management and assistance in the field.»
- What were the main topics covered?
«Management of bacterial cancer and wood diseases, through the integration of new and traditional tools. New products for pest and disease management, highlighting mainly the powerful bio-rationals that Anasac has (Grandevo, Botector), together with tools such as Borneo, a powerful acaricide with a unique mode of action. In weed management, the bio-herbicide Suppress was presented, the only product of natural origin 100%, without MRLs or deficiencies and safe for the environment, also compatible with organic and traditional agriculture, which adds to the efficient control of weeds in orchards. In plant nutrition, the importance of compatibility in the use of foliar fertilizers and the possible effects on tank mixtures was discussed, highlighting the confidence and security that the Poly line gives to the farmer; in this same segment we reviewed the qualities of the Water Aid product and its effect on irrigation optimization, closing with an advance on our new tool, Martello. Finally, the advances made with the BigFrut digital tool were shown, which has allowed producers to optimize certain tasks in the field, achieving high levels of efficiency in productivity estimation processes.

- What is your assessment of the meeting?
«Very positive, since a space for discussion and trust was created between both teams, with an excellent disposition to listen and share experiences and visions, which in any scenario will always be constructive. Thanks to instances like this we can identify the aspects that can be improved, we can reinforce and improve the positive, as well as recognize and capture opportunities or needs that have not yet been satisfied.»
- What proposals and/or products does Anasac have for the new cherry season?
«The broad portfolio that Anasac manages allows it to offer producers a variety of solutions, in which we seek to harmoniously and effectively integrate traditional products with other innovative products, in line with the times without sacrificing efficiency, plus services specially designed to facilitate the challenging task of producing more and better fruit for the farmer; we want them to be able to achieve their goals, while preserving the best condition of the orchard for the future.»
