WiseConn announces the arrival of the first 1,000 units of its new RF-V1 equipment launched in February, seeking to advance towards extensive technology. This occurs within the framework of the 18th anniversary of the Chilean agtech leader in precision irrigation in the world.
It is worth noting that this product is another innovation from WiseConn, which continues to be at the forefront of technological development for irrigation management. This product was launched in February by the firm at one of the main agricultural fairs in the United States, the “World Ag-Expo”. The RF-V1 seeks to give more farmers control and efficiency in controlling water in their fields.
In its first month since its launch, the product has had a positive reception among farmers, generating a great demand. For Cristóbal Rivas, General Manager of Wiseconn, “after turning 18, we see a broader and more positive reception of our technologies to farmers who are increasingly looking for more precision and to adapt to new trends in field management through sustainability, and, in that sense, RF-V1, one month after its launch, has attracted the attention of those who are looking for greater precision in the irrigation of their fields and to have greater control.”
He adds that “more than a product, it is a better way to manage your irrigation system to reduce operating costs, increase irrigation system management, meet sustainability needs and improve performance optimization, giving farmers and ranchers a leap into the future of water management.”
“The RF-V1 represents a significant leap forward in irrigation technology,” Rivas said, highlighting the importance of this launch for the company. “We have integrated advanced features into an affordable package, making it easier for farmers of all sizes and different crops to optimize their irrigation systems and contribute to a more sustainable future.”
“The global agricultural sector faces a formidable challenge: feeding a growing population while responsibly managing precious resources such as water, energy and fertilizers,” he said.
WiseConn, a company dedicated to sustainable agricultural solutions, has been at the forefront of this effort for 18 years. This next-generation equipment integrates with the DropControl platform, offering a powerful and affordable entry point for vegetable and row crop cultivation.
How It Works
The introduction of the RF-V1 simplifies overall control of irrigation system valves. Real-time data through advanced sensors provides information on water flows, pressure and soil moisture. It features a new quick and easy installation process using NFC technology.
The RF-V1 is flexible and adaptable to different crops, it can be powered by battery, solar energy or traditional electrical services. New connectivity through LoRa network, allowing minimum energy consumption and excellent autonomy.
This new product provides additional value through advanced energy-efficient technology, as well as multiple protections to maintain the durability and care of the equipment. The RF-V1 has the ability to use GPS for optional data analysis and mapping capabilities.
Its launch took place in February at the Fair www.worldagexpo.com one of the most important of its kind in the United States, with more than 1,200 exhibitions and 108,000 visitors.
