Francisco Donoso, General Manager of Agrícola Donar 2, has shared his positive experience with the use of Agroprecisión's reflective film in his cherry production. With 50 hectares of cherries in production, Donoso has dedicated 4 hectares of the Rainier variety to the use of this innovative technology.
“I have known the product for a long time and I am an Agroprecisión customer,” says Donoso. Along the same lines, he added that, “I also received recommendations from consultants such as Carlos Tapia and Andrés Sáez to implement this solution. The main advantage observed has been the improvement in the color of the Rainier cherries. The film really optimizes the color of the fruit, which is crucial for our production,” he says.
Although Francisco Donoso has not noticed any significant changes in the health of the trees and admits that he has not carried out exhaustive analyses in this regard, his main focus has been on improving the appearance of the cherries. “Our goal is to achieve the best possible colouring, and the reflective film has helped us achieve that goal,” he concludes.
