On July 26, the most important international congress and exhibition of the maritime-port sector in Chile, Trans-Port 2023, will be held; the event is scheduled to take place on July 26, 2023 at the Metropolitan Santiago convention center, and this year it has brought together the maritime industry,
port and foreign trade logistics to reflect on the challenges of “Net Zero – Digital:
“Building new standards for a transport and foreign trade ecosystem.”

The conference programme includes the first plenary session, “Comprehensive challenges between logistics ecosystems, territories and the environment”, which will feature two international speakers, representing the port and logistics cities of Barcelona and Rotterdam.
The program will continue alternating six panels called “Trans-Port Talks” (3) and “Trans-Port Dialogues” (3) that will include keynote speakers that will reflect national and international advances, with reflections from experts in the sector, which will continue with rounds of questions coordinated by a moderator.
Trans-Port talks will address three important topics of global impact for the industry
maritime-port: the transition process towards decarbonisation, cybersecurity in the
digital transformation, and the use of high-capacity simulators for planning
complex operations.
For their part, the Trans-Port Dialogues develop the regulatory, digital and operational challenges
of the three main ecosystems that make up the international logistics chain of operations
maritime and land, with emphasis on the situation in Chile.
The congress will end with a Networking meeting, where attendees will be able to exchange
ideas, opinions and establish business relationships and contact networks, being the ideal space
between supply and demand in the sector, discovering new opportunities for innovation and development
of the sector.

The congress will also feature the participation of the Minister of Transport and Telecommunications, Juan Carlos Muñoz, who pledged his participation by thanking him for his role as Honorary President of the exhibition.
“We are pleased to participate in this edition of Trans-Port 2023, an event that has established itself as
space for relationships between key public and private actors in the logistics sector and
port. For the same reason, it is a challenge to once again have the Honorary Presidency of this
meeting, where fundamental aspects of today and tomorrow of this industry will be addressed
important for Chile, such as the promotion of new businesses, coordination to improve
efficiency of the operation of logistics chains and strengthen the performance of our ports,”
said the Minister of Transport and Telecommunications, Juan Carlos Muñoz.
Along the same lines, the Secretary of State added that "as Ministry of Transport and
Telecommunications we remain firmly committed to strengthening our system
logistics-port. To this end, we are advancing key policy initiatives;
Regulatory adaptation; planning of the necessary infrastructures throughout the entire chain
logistics; technological adaptation and coordination of the different public and private actors,
way to meet the challenges we face as a country.”
For his part, the deputy general manager of FISA, Rodrigo Lobo, thanked the support of the highest
Government representative in matters of maritime transport and logistics in the country. “We are

It will be a space for collaboration for business relationships and to be able to discuss the
contingency and the future of the industry.”
Additionally, Lobo stated "We want to bring together the exponents of the sector that will help
boost trade, job creation, being a boost in the economic recovery of the
country through new businesses and the relationship between the various areas of the maritime sector-
port, both nationally and internationally.”
The new version of Trans-Port 2023 will have representatives from Europe, coming from
countries such as Denmark, Spain, Germany, France and the Netherlands. From America, the event
highlights representatives from the United States, Brazil and Uruguay, among others.
