San Carlos was the setting for a field day organized by Innovak Global, ADAMA and Agrocomer, focused on a series of technical talks on how to face the challenges of the new cherry season. The event included the participation of experts in the field, who shared their knowledge and experiences with local producers.
Pilar Piña, International and Regional Leader for Innovak Global, highlighted the importance of this type of activities: “For us, this type of activities is very important because it means strengthening alliances that are being created, to make ourselves known also in an area where we want to do more work, since we consider that it has a lot of agricultural potential. It is super important to be able to show ourselves together with our partners, strategic partners. In addition, it is one of the key pillars as Innovak Global, to bring in specialist advisors, because we want and believe in being a contribution to the farmer, being at the forefront and that is why we have advisors who, for us, are being important and relevant for the development and production of the crop, in this case, cherries.”
Lucas Ferrada, a specialist advisor in plant nutrition and soil management, expressed his gratitude for participating in this initiative: “I am grateful to be participating in this event organized by Innovak, Adama and AgroComer, which is an extremely important initiative for producers, since in this case there are several advisors who are providing information that has been very well received by everyone, since we are talking about things that are sensitive for agriculture, such as stress, management, soil compaction, the proper use of tools to solve these types of problems and to be able to be preventive in order to confront them.”
The event provided participants with valuable knowledge and strategies to improve cherry production, thereby strengthening local agriculture and promoting innovation and collaboration between companies and producers.
