Asoex visited the port of Nansha during the run-up to the Chinese New Year

On January 18, Nansha Port handled its last Cherry Express of the season, a process that was carried out as normal and ended before the Chinese New Year.

Prior to the holiday, ASOEX visited the terminals of the aforementioned port, where the central theme was to deepen cooperation with the main actors in the supply chain. During the visit, the members of the delegation met with Xie Xiaohui, Vice President of the CPPCC Nansha District and Director of the District Trade Office, as well as with senior representatives of the port administration.

Both sides agreed to explore facilitating the signing of a “Mutual Friendship Agreement” between Nansha and Chile, in order to establish friendly port relations and pave the way for further growth of Chilean fresh fruit trade in China.

This visit also included the facilities of the wholesale market in the city of Guangzhou. Here it was agreed to cooperate and promote the distribution of Chilean fruit, focusing on smaller cities located inland.
