After the passage of the atmospheric river along with a cold front that left significant rainfall in the center and south of the country, we will now see how the weather conditions will change noticeably.
Below is the specific information for each area:
Northern zone (Coquimbo – Atacama):
- Stable weather conditions, mostly clear skies.
- Low clouds and persistent fog in the coastal area.
- Morning temperatures will range from 2°C to 5°C in agricultural areas and maximum temperatures will range from 22°C to 26°C.
Central zone:
- Much if not all of the central area with fog in the morning hours and scattered clouds in the afternoons.
- The probability of frost increases in agricultural areas as temperatures close to and below 0°C are observed.
- Some scattered rain may be present in the next few days.
Southern area:
- Fog and low clouds in the mornings and isolated showers in the coastal area. Precipitation may be more widespread in the valleys and over the mountainous areas.
- Wind gusts of 40km/h to 50km/h until Friday of this week, especially in towns near the coast, and areas further away from the sea, wind gusts are estimated to be between 25km/h and 35km/h.
- Low temperatures, moderated by clouds, high humidity and isolated showers.
