SummitAgro will launch two new drone models

These are the T10 and T30 models that will be officially presented this Tuesday, October 26 at 9:00 a.m. via Zoom.

Reducing labor, improving applications and even saving water are some of the many attributes of using drones in agriculture. This has led to their use becoming more and more common and has also posed the constant challenge of improving the design and utility of the sophisticated equipment that has been in operation for just over two years.

SummitAgro Chile, mega-distributors for Chile of the Agras line of Dji, leaders in unmanned aerial vehicles, will present two new Drone models; these are the T10 and T30, equipment intended for small, medium and large farmers.

«We are launching now, this Tuesday, October 26, two new drones, they are already in Chile, our distribution chain will have them; their characteristics are the same, only one is smaller than the other, one is 30 liters and the other is 10 liters. The T30 is a drone that has 16 spray nozzles that cover 9 meters wide, it can cover 16 hectares per hour, it has a spherical or omnidirectional radar that can detect obstacles in all directions, which prevents the drone from falling or crashing", explained Claudio Valdés, Leader of the Agritec line of SummitAgro Chile.

It also has an automated system, works autonomously and based on a flight plan, and has two cameras visible on the control panel. Its basic kit consists of 4 batteries, which are equivalent to the 8 or 12 of the previous model (T20). The T10, on the other hand, has the same characteristics, however its capacity is only 10 liters, while its spraying width is 5.5 meters and covers 6 hectares per hour.

«The T10 has the advantage of having a very foldable, compact and easy to transport structure, especially for small and medium-sized farmers, because they can carry it on their back, in a backpack or on a motorcycle; for small and medium-sized farmers it is a very useful tool. The T30 already requires a truck and more tools for this drone, because there are considerable differences in size, you need two people to move it, you can't carry it on a motorcycle, pointed out the Leader of the Agritec line of SummitAgro Chile.

The new models will be launched this Tuesday, October 26 at 9:00 a.m. via Zoom. To attend the event and learn about these modern tools for agriculture, you can register for free here.
