A new premiere will be recorded tonight at 9:30 p.m. on Smartcherry TV; it is the fourth chapter of the second season of this interesting program, in which specialists will discuss in depth the use of dormancy breakers and the strategies used during this year, compared to the previous one.
Advisors Luis Valenzuela and Bruno Tapia visited two cherry orchards in the Maule region to assess the effect of these applications and possible damage from cold, one of the greatest risks when it comes to bringing forward.
The new chapter will also offer an overview of what is currently happening in Ovalle with the flowering of the orchards; Jorge Astudillo, production manager of Valle Arriba, commented on the strategies used and the differences that exist between what they do in this region, compared to the central zone.
