This is a specialized portal that brings together innovation, technology, clean energy development and sustainable processes in the agri-food sector.
The creators of the renowned and successful Smartcherry platform surprise the agro-industry once again, through the “green” portal GreenNetwork, the network that accelerates and strengthens the change from traditional agro-industry to a more sustainable one.
The new portal features quality content presented in six main sections: agri-food, environment, biodiversity, water, energy and agents of change, all within the framework of sustainability. These cover topics such as innovation, technology, new devices, solutions, food safety and much more.
“We are very pleased to announce this great news; the launch of GreenNetwork is the starting point of a project that we have been working on for a year and that has been consolidated in this attractive web portal, which is now available to all actors in the agro-industry. Sustainability is a tremendous issue and we have taken on the challenge of, through GreenNetwork, informing and educating about it and, above all, bringing the agro-industry closer to it through technology and more sustainable practices,” explained Jorge Tello, Co-founder and Commercial Director of GreenNetwork.
GreenNetwork will also feature renowned columnists, experts in sustainability and sustainability in different areas; in turn, it will gather in the events section, the various national and international activities on these subjects.
“We are a participatory platform that will give space to all the actors in the agri-food sector and sustainability to exchange content; at the same time, a technological, educational and conscious website. We want to popularize corporate social responsibility in the sustainable agri-food system and its impact, and for this, at GreenNetwork we are looking for strategic partners who want to participate in this platform and join in driving this change,” commented Javiera López, Co-founder and General Director of GreenNetwork.
The new platform seeks to bring together individuals, companies, universities, the public sector, among other actors, to form a large community that promotes change towards a sustainable agroindustry.
“Today we can see how sustainability has gradually been incorporated into the world agri-food, allowing us to meet current needs, but without compromising the capacity of future generations; every day it is more necessary to achieve a balance between economic growth, environmental care and social well-being and, in this context, our new platform seeks to bring the agricultural world ever closer to sustainable practices through different technologies”, concluded Carlos Tapia, specialist advisor in cherry production and co-founder of GreenNetwork.
The new platform is now available in www.greennetwork.cl and also on different social networks.
