Twinguard® RTU; New and effective broad-spectrum tool for pest control in cherry trees

Initially launched for pome trees, walnut trees and table grapes, since last season it has been extended to all stone fruits, thus entering as a new broad spectrum control tool, formulated based on the active ingredients Jemvelva™ and Isoclast™ for the phytosanitary management of hemipteran, thrips, diptera and lepidopteran insects such as: white bugs; scale insects; California thrips; moths and flies.

Its effectiveness, given by its remarkable knockdown power and excellent residuality, allows protection periods that extend from 21 to 35 days depending on the pest to be controlled (see label).

Pests that it covers Twinguard® RTU:

Formulated with two active ingredients, from different chemical groups, with unique mechanisms of action: Jemvelva™ of natural origin, derived from bacterial fermentation, acts by contact and ingestion, is very active for the control of lepidoptera, thrips and Drosophila suzukii and the active ingredient Isoclast™ with systemic action, ingestion and contact, with translaminar movement provides excellent control of piglets, scales and other suckers as indicated in the label instructions.

Behavior in the plant of Twinguard® RTU:

Twinguard® RTU combines two powerful insecticides that cover a wide variety of pests of great agricultural importance and high economic impact. Suitable for rotation in phytosanitary programs for pest management. It is an appropriate tool for resistance management, standing out for its good environmental profile and green band label. It does not raise spiders as it is respectful of beneficial fauna, with wide tolerances and short deficiencies.
