Successful Syngenta Chile Field Day in Requínoa where important information was provided to producers

In the town of Requínoa, the Field Day was held, organized by Syngenta Chile, a leader in the development of agricultural technology and solutions for cherry cultivation. The event was attended by experts, exhibitors and farmers, who gathered to learn about the latest developments and strategies that Syngenta proposes for the sector.

One of the outstanding speakers was Karen Sagredo, a professor at the University of Chile, who spoke about the treatment of Syngenta's Vitazyme product. During the day, Karen presented various works carried out over three years, focused on the use of Vitazyme in cherry cultivation.

“The exhibition allowed us to show the results obtained and how this technology can benefit producers in the specific field of cherries.”

Likewise, Luis Agurto, sales manager of Syngenta Chile, highlighted the importance of cherry cultivation in Chile and the company's orientation towards the generation of technology through innovation. "The purpose of the event was to transfer all this innovation to farmers and make available to them the valuable information generated in collaboration with researchers and strategic partner companies of Syngenta, such as Acadian, Ibiterra, Myconativa, among others," the commercial manager indicated first.

Agurto added: “This joint collaboration has generated a great deal of valuable information that we wanted to share with the farmers on this very special day, held directly in the orchards, where the producers feel at home.”

The presence of farmers at the Field Day was essential to enrich the meeting and generate a space for interaction. Daniela Bignotti, representative of Agrícola Bigce SPA, and attendee at the event, highlighted the importance of this type of initiatives, especially in the current context of climate change, which can generate uncertainty in the sector.

“The diversity of options and strategies presented at Field Day allowed farmers to feel more prepared to face the challenges ahead, especially in the coming spring,” said Daniela Bignotti.

The format of the event, with exhibition stations, facilitated direct interaction between farmers and exhibitors, which allowed for questions to be resolved and for further discussion on each topic of interest. The day was characterized by a collaborative environment and openness to the exchange of knowledge among all participants.

In conclusion, Syngenta Chile's Field Day in Requínoa was a resounding success, demonstrating the company's commitment to innovation and technological development, as well as its dedication to providing effective and sustainable solutions for cherry cultivation in the country and, in turn, strengthening collaboration and connection with farmers, which becomes a valuable platform to strengthen the agricultural sector and face future challenges of the industry.
