The National Irrigation Commission (CNR) announced that applications are now open for the new online course for consultants on “Design of photovoltaic systems associated with irrigation works, Law No. 18,450”, whose objective is to generate technical capacities in professionals in the agricultural sector.
“One of the main objectives of the National Irrigation Commission is to support the development of projects that benefit small and medium-sized agriculture, which contribute to its development and to improving the quality of life of those who live in the different territories”, said the Executive Secretary of the CNR, Wilson Ureta.
In that sense, he explained, “This course, focused on irrigation consultants, aims to provide professionals who are properly trained so that more and more farmers implement works that incorporate innovation and allow for more efficient use of the available resources.”
It is worth noting that this course aims to strengthen the incorporation of sustainable energy solutions into irrigation.
Applications can be submitted until May 15, and the results will be announced by email on May 18.
