From January to December 2022, Chile exported USD 2,673.5 million of fresh cherries, compared to USD 1,879.1 million for the same period in 2021. According to this, our country accumulated 96.7% of cherry exports to China in 2022.
As for the last period of the year (November and December), our country exported USD 510.9 million in 2022, compared to USD 135.5 million in the same period of 2021. With this, Chile accumulated 98.3% of cherry exports to China between November and December 2022.
Regarding fruit receiving regions in China, during 2022, 65.81 TP3T of Chilean cherries exported to China were received by the province of Guangdong, in contrast to 69.31 TP3T in 2021.
