Syngenta's new product launch concluded successfully

The event featured 11 stations where attendees roamed around, allowing them to learn about the new products in a fun and interesting way.

More than 200 people, including producers, influencers, exporters, consultants and other personalities from the agricultural sector, came to the Sun Monticello Conference Center to be part of the “Launch of new Syngenta products.” On the occasion, 11 products were presented, including biostimulants, nutritional correctors, fertilizers, insecticides, among others.

Pedro Donoso, Commercial Director of Syngenta Chile, referred to this important launch and highlighted the contribution it represents for agriculture.

“For us, it is a very relevant event. We are launching 11 solutions, many of which are biological products, biostimulants, others aimed at nutrition, at improving the efficiency of field nutrition. We have a state-of-the-art chemical product, a product to protect plants from insects, and also soil and mycorrhizal biostimulants. The truth is that each of them are options for farmers to improve profitability, production, to have better quality products, with safety and all produced sustainably.” Donoso explained.

The event's dynamics caught the attention of attendees, as it was carried out through 11 stations, each one dedicated to one of the products that were presented and which had a giant screen, fun exhibitions, graphic and audiovisual material, as well as a specific audio system for each stand.

“I was surprised by the range of products that Syngenta is presenting. Today they are presenting us with quite sustainable alternatives for what we are looking for as a company and what agriculture is asking of us today. Regarding the assembly, all the stands, Syngenta surprised us again with its organization. They were quite educational stands and a lot of important information that we took away so that we can continue working now,” she said. Carolina Abarca, Technical Management Analyst at Viña Concha y Toro.

Miguel Frey, Business Manager of Coagra, welcomed the format of the exhibitions and the fact that the event was held in person.

“I think it is a very interesting activity from the point of view of how the screens are set up and the whole range of products is relevant and new. (Getting together again) is part of what is important, it was missed, so these instances are appreciated.”

Among those attending the “Launch of new Syngenta products” were several renowned consultants, who highlighted the versatility of the formulations presented, including Talete, Viva, Retrosal, Acadian Organic, Ibicarbox, Yegun Nativa, Premio, Turbine, Botanigard, Biocap, Círculo and Cropwise.

“I liked it, it is always good news that there are new products and especially if many of them are zero waste, very good tools. Without a doubt, biological products are interesting, amazing, how one can modulate biology to achieve objectives,” indicated Rafael Rodríguez, Fruit Tree Advisor.

Francisco García Huidobro, National and International Walnut Advisor, also spoke on the subject: “For me as an advisor, having more tools is super good. In the specific case (of walnut trees) there are several products that are designed for salt management, reducing salts at the soil level, antagonizing salts, which helps the production of walnuts.”

Also noteworthy are the strategic alliances with new companies to strengthen Syngenta's line of biological products.

“Very interesting, very active, self-taught, let's say, the alliances they are making with all these green products thinking about the future of the world seem very interesting to me”, reflected José Ramón Pérez, Producer.

Agricultural companies joined in highlighting the new products presented, their attributes and commitment to sustainability.

“I found the event to be very well organized, they have a very wide range, more than what I was familiar with from Syngenta, it is clear that they have brought out very innovative things, especially in the foliar part, and the more organic – harmless part, due to the concern for the environment, which is quite valuable as a company,” highlighted Nicolás Cancino, Legal Representative of Los Coihues Agricultural Company.

José Díaz, Agronomist at Agrícola Los Cerezos, thanked the invitation and spoke about his experience using Syngenta products: “This is my second experience with this type of launch. I found it quite entertaining, dynamic, easy to remember the products, very user-friendly. We use them quite a lot in the company, and we are happy with the results. People come here to learn a little more about the in-depth experience and I am very happy with the dynamics.”

The launch, in addition to offering compelling information about the new products, spectrum of action, uses and indications, featured a musical intervention by The Show Chile, who surprised attendees during the closing speech.

“Syngenta is a world leader in food production solutions to improve quality. We are a company that is present in every country in the world and what we offer here today are solutions that go along those lines, but not only in the productive part, but in producing sustainably, which is important for us. We have less and less land and a growing population. Probably by 2050 there will be 9 billion people and each hectare has to produce more and with better quality. The eleven solutions that we are presenting are high-impact solutions in terms of productivity, but the most important thing is that they are solutions that are aimed at workplaces that we did not consider before, such as being more efficient with roots, in the use of water, soil and working with biological products that are also rare today, such as insect control based on fungi.” concluded Pedro Donoso, Commercial Director of Syngenta Chile.
