TOMRA Fresh Food and ICOEL Srl have signed an agreement that positions ICOEL as TOMRA Food's integrated commercial partner for Europe, and partner for the application of cherries in Latin America. This new agreement, made public today, will take advantage of the synergies of both companies to strengthen both the sales and the customer service and support offered by TOMRA Fresh Food and ICOEL in these markets.
TOMRA Food designs and manufactures sensor-based sorting machines, grading and peeling solutions. ICOEL designs and manufactures fruit handling, processing and packaging equipment, box emptying systems, palox and other packaging, manual and automated handling, box filling and handling, palox. Many processing companies use both TOMRA Food and ICOEL machinery, especially in Europe.

Customers who own equipment from both TOMRA Food and ICOEL will receive a single, comprehensive after-sales service from both companies, regardless of whether it is provided by a technician from one company or the other. To facilitate this new agreement, TOMRA Food is expanding its workforce and integrating several of its functions into ICOEL.
