(VIDEO) Logistics problems in China: Could they be solved for the next cherry season?

In China, the country where the Covid-19 pandemic began, restrictions were very strict from the beginning, which impacted different aspects, including port and customs logistics, strongly affecting the cherry campaign in recent years.

While the entire world has eased restrictions surrounding the pandemic, China continues to enforce many of them, especially regarding quarantines and certificates for workers, who must be tested for Covid-19 regularly.

Lan Xu, Import Manager of Chengdu Jiatian Agricultural Product Co, who spoke at the recent Regional Meeting of Fruit Producers organized by Fedefruta and ProChile in Curicó, referred to the protocols and restrictions of the Asian giant, and the possible changes that would be announced next September.
