Fedefruta's # Wednesdays Online are back

  • Wednesday, April 12 – 10:00 am: New Water Code: DGA instructions and deadlines that will impact users and water rights holders

The current Water Code has been in force for a year now, with obligations whose deadlines expire in 2023 for water rights holders. Likewise, the DGA is generating instructions to enforce these tasks. It is important to consider this information with the producers, and the partner and lawyer of Vergara y Cía., Gonzalo Muñoz Escudero, will analyze these points in the first #MiércolesOnline of Fedefruta in 2023.

  • Wednesday, April 19 – 10:00 am: Results of the last cherry season: iQonsulting International Market Yearbook


Isabel Quiroz and Camila Miranda from iQonsulting will share information from their Cherry Yearbook for the 2022-2023 season, compiled with export figures from Asoex, and sponsored by Fedefruta, along with other entities that support these publications.   • Wednesday, April 26 – 10:00 am: The agricultural labour situation with the advance of the “40-hour law”

The Senate approved this law that will determine 40 hours of work per week, a discussion in which the agricultural and fruit-growing sector has been participating to inform the authorities about the particularity of work in the rural world and on fruit farms. Germán Segura, lawyer and labor law expert at Grupo Montt, has been closely following this project, and will speak with the producers in this new #MiércolesOnline.
