More than 80 producers from the Maule and Ñuble regions participated in two field days organized by Tavan Chile together with Coagra.

The activity was attended by advisor Patricio Morales, who reviewed the 2022-23 cherry season. He highlighted the importance of sizes, pruning, irrigation and disease control to achieve a successful next campaign for the fruit tree.
For its part, Tavan Chile recommended the application of its autumn-winter program for comprehensive management of wood diseases in cherry trees, including bacterial canker, cytospora, shoot rot and neck gall.
Its program consists of the application of WERT + PH4, which allows for a reduction in the use of copper-based products in the fall-winter season. WERT allows for comprehensive management of wood fungi and bacteria, while PH4 helps WERT perform better within the plant.
