Macfrut President Renzo Piraccini, in an interview with Smartcherry, spoke about the 40th edition of the fruit and vegetable fair and highlighted the importance of Chile in the event and production worldwide.
«This year it is a fantastic fair, it has grown a lot, it is one of the most interesting fairs that exist in Europe, I think that the particularity of Macfrut is that it is a different fair of the fruit and vegetable chain, above all it is a fair that has business, knowledge and possibility of events; in Europe there are three fairs, ours is the only one that is growing a lot., said Renzo Piraccini.
Macfrut had a special launch in Chile this 2023; we asked its president about the relevance of our country for this event: «Chile is an important production area, it has concentrated a lot on the Chinese market now, but I think that in Europe it can have many more opportunities; this fair is not only for large Chilean companies, but rather for medium-sized Chilean companies. I think that this is the most interesting fair in Europe for companies that are looking for new contacts, the success that we are having means that the model is exactly what exporting companies are looking for», Piracelli concluded.
