This is a modern facility located in the Río Chico sector, Chamiza area, in the capital of the Los Lagos region., which seeks to increase the production of its FERTUM® products.

Patagonia Biotecnologia SA has just taken a major step with the opening of a new plant in Puerto Montt that will allow it to meet the demand of its customers, which has grown steadily by 25% annually over the past 6 years.
The modern facility, designed to process seaweed that is then transformed into sustainable support for the development of agricultural crops, will allow the company to increase its current production capacity by 20 times.
The new plant was made possible thanks to the genius and creativity of the partner and Manager of Production, Innovation and Development, Marcelo Brintrup Meeder, winner of the National Award for Agricultural Innovation.

Rebeca Gálvez, Co-founder and CEO of Patagonia Biotecnología SA highlighted the work of Brintrup, and assured that "Today we are able to generate for Chile and the world a triple benefit impact: financial, environmental and social, contributing our grain of sand to the protection of the environment."«.
The Co-founder also highlighted the team and the work they do every day:I trust that future generations will hear success stories and legends of the adventures of the FERTUM® team, who with tenacity and great love for the environment did everything possible to give them a healthier planet; stories and legends that will surely be transmitted to the rest of the world by the murmur of the seaweed and the Pacific Ocean of Chilean Patagonia, a true heritage of this great country!, he concluded.
