Macfrut 2023 closes with a record attendance; in total there were 49,700 tickets over the three days, which filled the halls of the Rimini Fair, which meant a growth of +29% compared to the previous year. A 40th edition that stands out for the quality of the visitors, the highly specialized proposals and the great international growth of exhibitors and visitors. An event that will go down in history for the prestigious greeting of the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, who wanted to pay tribute to the Italian fruit and vegetable supply chain at the special opening held in Cesena.
«The first thought is an immense thank you to all the exhibitors, institutions, organisations in the sector, the staff of Cesena Fiera and the team of specialists who worked on this successful edition: great teamwork has allowed us to create an extraordinary fair», said Macfrut President Renzo Piraccini; «Macfrut is a demonstration of what the fruit and vegetable system can do when it unites around a common goal of adding value to the entire supply chain. We are building the great event that our fruit and vegetable system deserves,» Piraccini concluded.
The 41st edition of Macfrut has already been scheduled: it will take place between March 8 and 10 in Rimini, Italy.
