This Thursday, May 30, at 9:30 p.m., the last episode of the first season of Reportajes en Smartcherry TV will be broadcast, an audiovisual space in which, through various episodes, interesting technical topics and issues related to the production and export of cherries were analyzed.
«We are very proud to be the architects of this unprecedented initiative in the cherry industry; Smartcherry has once again been a pioneer in making available high-quality audiovisual reports, with specialized, contingent technical content, through authoritative voices that have been an important bridge between the content and our audience», said Jorge Tello, co-founder of Smartcherry.
In 12 chapters, the first season featured more than 30 interviewees, including advisors, specialists, academics, producers, exporters and importers, at national and international level, among others.

«We have been, through the reports that have been broadcast every two weeks on our platform, in some way accompanying the producers, addressing issues specific to each season. We started in December with a complete analysis of what was the most complex season in the history of cherry production in Chile, we continued with the details of Ovalle, with the harvest in the central area, the route to China, post-harvest, irrigation, technology and innovation, entering dormancy, cold hours, among others. commented Carlos Tapia, a specialist advisor in cherry production, technical director of Avium and co-founder of Smartcherry.
In total, there were more than 240 minutes of top-quality content, with the participation of advisors such as Walter Masman, Jordi Casas, Óscar Aliaga, Valeria Lepe, Luis Valenzuela, Kym Green from Australia, Peter Kelemen from Hungary, Jéssica Rodríguez; in addition, specialists such as Nicolás Zamorano, Gonzalo Salinas, Isabel Quiroz, Chinese influencers who showed how they promote and market Chilean cherries at their destination, the agroclimatologist Patricio González, among others.
«We were present at the main events of the recent cherry season, at the start of the harvest, the first air shipment, the arrival of the cherry blossoms to China, the first shipment by sea, the arrival of the first ship, the quality of the fruit at its destination, but we also followed step by step what was happening in the orchards with the harvest in the central area, the packing, the post-harvest of the plants, the end of the irrigation season and everything that is happening month by month around cherry cultivation from a technical point of view», commented Javiera López, Director of Smartcherry.
