Agrotech Maule 2022 meeting brings technological solutions to the regional agroindustry

The event is led by the Corfo program, Maule Alimenta and the Digital Assistance Network Strengthens SMEs, executed by Thinkagro-UTalca.

For the fourth consecutive year, Maule Alimenta and the Fortalece Pyme Program will carry out AgroTech Maule, a meeting point for the agricultural and agro-industrial sector of the region, which in its 2022 version will return to face-to-face events since 2019 to link private technological needs with the offer of products and services available in the national market.

The event, free to the public, will take place next Thursday, November 17th at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Talca, on its Curicó campus, and will have three spaces: a large pavilion with stands of technology providers, a room for technical talks, as well as exhibitions and a food truck sector for feeding participants.

Regarding the topics discussed at AgroTech Maule, the Regional Director of Corfo Maule, Paulina Capos, said that “For Corfo, it is of utmost importance to provide support for automation, digitalization and robotics initiatives for companies. In Maule, this role is played by our Fortalece Pyme and Maule Alimenta projects, the latter carrying out the complex task of identifying the needs of the agroindustry, and then linking them with service and technology providers that can enhance their development in these areas.”

Meanwhile, the executive director of the Digital Assistance Network Strengthens SMEs Maule, Paula Gajardo Tapia commented, "Each season has its own particularity and in view of the need for technological solutions that support agriculture and the agroindustry of our region, we are committed to holding this event that allows us to meet new technological providers, meet around topics of interest to the sector and discuss the challenges that lie ahead."

For his part, the manager of Maule Alimenta, Felipe Torti Solar, expressed “Active listening to companies is one of the fundamental pillars of Maule Alimenta, and precisely through this permanent practice, our program can be in tune with the needs of our Agroindustry, with the lack of access and connection with service and technology providers being one of the most recurrent pains of companies in recent years, which we try to solve through AgroTech Maule.”
