Rovensa Group launches Rovensa Next

Facing the challenge of population growth and climate change

Ten companies from the Rovensa Group make up the new global biosolutions business unit that will drive the sustainable future of agriculture. Agrichembio, Agrotecnología, Idai Nature, Microquimica, MIP Agro, OGT, Oro Agri, Rodel, SDP and Tradecorp.

Rovensa Group, a world leader in solutions for sustainable agriculture, responds to the challenges of producers with Rovensa Next, a global business unit for biosolutions for sustainable agriculture, which has 14 production plants and 16 innovation centers around the world, and sales in more than 80 countries.

Rovensa Next is a holistic biosolutions platform aimed at developing a sustainable future for agriculture and boosting its biotransformation. Agrichembio, Agrotecnología, Idai Nature, Microquimica, MIP Agro, OGT, Oro Agri, Rodel, SDP and Tradecorp will combine their technical knowledge, global and local experience and innovation.

«With Rovensa Next, our flagship project and holistic biosolutions platform, we are taking a strategic step to position ourselves as the reference partner in balanced and sustainable solutions. Farmers and distributors do not require a unique product or a generic proposal, but rather specialized advisors with whom to develop a powerful strategy taking into account their local climate environment. Rovensa Next responds to the needs of our partners by addressing the production of healthy, safe and quality food in a sustainable way and with higher yields.» states Eric van Innis, CEO of Grupo Rovensa.

Rovensa Next is committed to sustainability, innovation and technical expertise with a global network of 30 research and development laboratories, fields and greenhouses, 14 production plants, more than 80 collaborations with research centres and universities, more than 100 R&D specialists; and a team of more than 850 experts. Rovensa Next is a pioneer in cutting-edge research for the development of effective biosolutions, which, in addition to being environmentally friendly, meet performance and quality standards.

“We are a trusted partner for farmers and will help them drive sustainable transformation, without compromising product functionality and performance. We have a team of experts working on the ground with growers to understand their needs and solve their challenges. Our local expertise in various crops and geographic areas is enhanced by a global portfolio of solutions aimed at facilitating bio-transformation and - ultimately - ensuring a more sustainable future.”, concludes José Alfredo García, Co-Chief Operating Officer of Rovensa Next.

With the new business unit, the Rovensa Group expects a turnover of more than 1 billion euros by 2025, thus beginning a period of transition towards Rovensa Next - at a global level - and its corresponding implementation at a local level.
