The first season of Reportajes on Smartcherry TV ended with a complete chapter dedicated to dormancy

Second season confirmed!

The latest episode of the successful Reportajes section on Smartcherry TV, which aired last Thursday, May 30, generated various reactions. The episode titled “Shh!… the orchard is sleeping” is the 12th in a series of audiovisual productions that covered various technical and contingent topics of cherry production, and which were part of the first season. This space was sponsored by Cogrowers, Agrocare Chile and Yara.

«We are very happy and grateful for the great support of the audience in this new project; we started in December 2023 and little by little we have been addressing different topics from a technical perspective, always providing quality information to producers, in a simple way, but with the help of leading specialists in the field; we are very proud to provide the industry with quality information for free,» said Javiera López, Director of Smartcherry.

Producers, consultants and the general audience gave their opinions on this new format that was available every two weeks on Smartcherry TV screens.

«I found it very interesting, I think it adds a lot of value to the industry, both in terms of information, communication, keeping us up to date; the reports were super consistent, the content very attractive for everyone, I find it super interesting and innovative and I think it is a great contribution to the cherry industry, both for us as farmers, and for the negotiation part, I think it is very interesting and attractive and I congratulate them," said Raúl Salas, a cherry producer from the Maule region.

For his part, the manager of the Agrindustrial Valle Frío orchard in Romeral, who participated in the last report, was very grateful for this type of instance: » , commented Sergio Rodríguez.

Walter Masman, a specialist advisor on cherries and stone fruits, highlighted the new format and the high quality of the content delivered: «The audiovisual material provided by Smartcherry is a great contribution to the industry, since it clearly exemplifies the paths or approaches that producers can take in relation to the current situation or the reality that is developing in the season. On the other hand, it has allowed the participation of so many advisors, producers and people who, in fact, have an important role in the industry, who with their experience in each of its stages and specialties allows them to give an interesting contribution and, in turn, allows us to take advantage of each one of those who participate in this area; the material is valuable, it is always important to have contributions to the extent that we have the capacity to listen to the greatest number of people who actually come to this business on a daily basis, it allows us to draw conclusions, to choose the best paths to take. It is a tremendous initiative, which I have always applauded and as always, congratulations for what they have done, do and will do.«.

It has already been confirmed that Reportajes en Smartcherry will have a second season, which is currently in the production stage: "We already have a battery of topics, as interesting as those we dealt with in this first season, and we are already working on them, managing the interviewees, investigating, etc. The new season will bring great surprises and we invite you to pay close attention to our social networks, where we will be providing more information on the subject," concluded Andrea Garrido, editorial director of Reportajes en Smartcherry TV.
