In a joint effort to promote sustainable agriculture and improve productive potential, the exporter Aurora Australis, Copela and Koppert Chile organized a talk that addressed key issues for the development of a more efficient and environmentally friendly agriculture. The initiative included the participation of different companies and experts in the agricultural field.
Juan Silva, an agronomist at Aurora Australis, highlighted the importance of sharing knowledge with other companies, such as Koppert, to stay informed about the latest techniques and practices that can benefit producers. “Collaboration and updating in technical management are key to improving the quality and results of agricultural production,” said the representative of the exporter.
Rodrigo Espejo, general manager of Koppert Chile, said that it is essential for the company to be in direct contact with farmers and work in harmony with nature.

“Collaboration with Aurora Australis on this initiative allowed us to present our Natupol Booster product, a patented hive specialised in pollinating short-flowering fruit trees, such as cherry trees. This technology offers advantages over the use of bees, such as the ability to work in areas with lower temperatures and establish itself before the start of flowering, ensuring early and efficient pollination that improves the productive quality of cherry trees,” said Espejo.

Along the same lines, Paulina Bermúdez, Business Development Manager at Koppert, expressed her enthusiasm for meeting with Aurora Australis, Copeval and the producers to show them the Natupol Booster technology. She highlighted the importance of considering the determining factors in pollination and fruit set in cherry trees, which will allow them to provide products and solutions that contribute to the care of the crops and the development of a more sustainable agriculture in general.
Karen Sagredo, a professor at the University of Chile, also thanked Koppert for inviting her to participate in the talk, where she presented technical bases related to pollination and the physiology of the fruit set.
"These aspects are crucial when selecting appropriate pollinators and management practices to ensure uniform and high-quality fruit set," said the professional.
In conclusion, the collaborative talk between Copeval, Aurora Australis and Koppert Chile was an enriching space that allowed the sharing of knowledge, experiences and innovative technologies to boost agricultural production in a sustainable way. The joint efforts between companies and experts demonstrates the commitment of the agricultural sector to continuously improve and adopt environmentally responsible practices.
