With the 2021-2022 harvest campaign already in its final stage, the focus of attention is turning to the care and maintenance of the orchard during the summer period and the proper preparation of the trees for the entry into recess. The relevance for future productions of incorporating management aimed at the recovery of the plants, after the demands that production entails, as well as any management focused on preventing stress during the summer period, whether due to temperature, radiation and/or pest or disease activity, is already a fact accepted by most.
It is during summer, for example, that the symptoms associated with spring infections by bacterial canker manifest themselves most strongly, affecting twigs and leaves, as well as the plant's ability to transpire, thus limiting the possibility of releasing heat. Similar symptoms or consequences occur from the presence of wood fungus infections (such as Chondrostereum either Cytospora), which are observed in the garden as wilted plants, with yellowish leaves, with early loss of foliage, poor growth and gum emission (photos 1 and 2).

BACTOFUS® is effective not only in cherry trees, but also in walnut trees (black plague and diseases such as Botryosphaeria), kiwi (PSA and PSS), and table grape (rolling).
