AgroFresh will present its integrated solutions for cherries and blueberries at the South American Blueberry Convention and Global Cherry Summit events

AGROFRESH AgroFresh has announced today its participation in two important events taking place next week; the South American Blueberry Convention and the Global Cherry Summit, on April 18 and 20 in Santiago. Organized by YETZEN GROUP, both events are key international events that bring together the main representatives of the fruit industry. As an innovative AgTech company and a global leader in the post-harvest segment of fresh produce, AgroFresh representatives will showcase their full range of solutions; from the field with Harvista to post-harvest to help extend freshness. They will also exhibit equipment that helps reduce water use in processes, as well as digital technologies that facilitate quality improvement and contribute to extending the shelf life of fresh fruit.

Denny Vidal, Commercial Manager of AgroFresh, indicated:

“At AgroFresh we are continuously pushing the potential of our pre- and post-harvest solutions to benefit an ever-wider range of crops and markets, to help improve the freshness and quality of fruit at every step of the value chain, supporting producers, fruit and vegetable plants and distribution. We will be presenting our latest developments in integrated solutions for blueberry and cherry crops at our stands, which help reduce food loss and waste.”

During the events, AgroFresh experts will report on their extensive portfolio of solutions and highlight the company's recent innovations:

  • At the forefront and to meet customer needs, AgroFresh developed the Control-Tec™ Ultra Low Volume Applicator that contributes to the precise and efficient application of fungicide treatments, disinfectants or coatings to fruits that are sensitive to water use in post-harvest, such as blueberries and raspberries, but also for crops such as apples and others.
  • The company will offer live demonstrations of FreshCloud™ Inspection, its integrated digital platform that uses aggregated data, machine learning and artificial intelligence to sustainably address food waste reduction and gain insights into quality and supply chain, offering real-time analysis that facilitates decision-making.
  • The stands will also feature Harvista 1.3 SC, which, when applied pre-harvest, helps manage the blueberry harvest or the setting of cherry trees.

AgroFresh representatives will be available at the following stands:

South American Blueberry Convention – April 18 Booth 41

Global Cherry Summit – April 20, booth 1.
