Sumitomo Cherry Strategy

Cherry production in Chile requires a large number of management and strategies to reach the most demanding export markets with fruit that must also be developed in a short time and with maximum intensity. Because of this, we developed Sumitomo Cherry Strategy, a tool that brings together the highest and most sophisticated technology in Growth Regulators. A new winning line that will give you the results you need.

STONE GROSS (Dichlorprop-p) is a growth regulator that, when applied to flower buds, increases the proportion of larger and heavier fruits in the harvest. Through its auxinic action, it attracts metabolites that prepare the structure for setting and cell division. Stone Gross is an enhancer for controlling fruit abscission, increasing retention and positively affecting production.

RETAIN (AVG) is a growth regulator that inhibits ethylene biosynthesis, which extends the viability of flower structures, delaying senescence and increasing the effective pollination period (PEP). This increases fruit set and retention in self-sterile varieties or under unfavorable conditions for pollination (frost, wind, low bee activity, humidity).

SPLENDOR (Tidiazuron), a phytoregulatory growth product with cytokinin activity, which when applied after flowering contributes to uniform and increase sizes, as well as providing greater firmness, reducing cracking. Splendor shifts the production curve towards larger sizes, obtaining higher incomes, without affecting the condition of the fruit.

Sumitomo Cherry Strategy is designed for different production scenarios, achieving a unique synergy of effects and benefits. The products that make up this tool, when applied at their respective application times, complement each other perfectly, achieving optimal results in 3 of the most critical production factors: Retention, Fruit Set and Size.
