The annual Expocerezas Romeral 2023 event, focused on cherry cultivation and production, was a resounding success this year, bringing together leading industry players and offering a space for the dissemination of innovative solutions. Among the most notable participants were Smartcherry partners, who presented their solutions for the development and cultivation of the fruit.
The fair, which took place on September 29 and 30 in Romeral, featured a variety of exhibitors who offered informative presentations on cherry cultivation. In addition, numerous stands were set up at the exhibition where companies associated with Smartcherry, such as Aquadetect, Anagra, Agralia, Pacific algae, Agro Puelma, Aminochem, Summit Agro and PLYMAG, exhibited their products and services related to the sector.
Javiera Munita, zonal agent for Aminochem in the Maule Region, commented on the importance of participating in this initiative for the second consecutive year: “For us, this type of event is extremely important. Our main objective is to inform the community, both small and medium producers, about our products from the salmon industry.”
Agustín Lecaros, CAM of Agralia Chile, highlighted the opportunity to get closer to local farmers: “It is a very good opportunity to show small and large farmers in the Romeral area how we are facing environmental challenges and the solutions we can offer as Agralia. Many people are interested in learning about these new technologies.”
Mauricio Andrade, sales manager for the Maule Region for Agro Puelma, highlighted the importance of promoting his company in the region: “Expocerezas represents a great opportunity for Agro Puelma, as we are in the process of expanding in this area. For cherry producers, AgroPuelma is a solid alternative, and we believe that we can make a significant contribution to the cherry industry with our solutions.”
Expocerezas Romeral 2023 is consolidating itself as an important event for the cherry industry, where Smartcherry partners stood out for their innovative solutions and their commitment to the sustainable development of the cultivation of this emblematic fruit of the Maule Region.
