Innovak Global, a leader in agricultural innovation, held an outstanding field day in three Chilean locations: Requínoa, Quillota and the Metropolitan Region. The event, which brought together farmers and professionals from the sector, focused on crucial aspects for agricultural productivity and included the participation of renowned experts.
Tomás Albornoz, sub-zone leader of the Metropolitan Region of Innovak, explained that during these field days, together with Doctor Prometeo Sánchez and Raúl Ferreyra, a specialist soil advisor, special emphasis was placed on soil management, roots and irrigation management in cherry and other fruit crops.
“The main purpose of this event was to provide technical support to producers working with Innovak Global products,” said Tomás Albornoz.
Prometeo Sánchez, advisor and professor at the Colegio de Postgraduados in Mexico, shared his experience and knowledge regarding the weather events that have affected agriculture this year. His talk focused on how these events relate to productivity in different crops, including cherry, walnut, avocado and hazelnut trees.
“My talk consisted of three main points. The first was to talk about climate stress and how it affects crops, the second point was about how we diagnose this climate stress and thirdly, how we can prevent or minimize this stress in plants,” said the international guest.
Innovak Global Field Day provided attendees with a unique platform to learn about the latest techniques and technologies in agriculture, as well as to network and share experiences with other professionals in the sector.
This event reflects Innovak Global’s ongoing commitment to supporting Chilean farmers and its focus on promoting sustainable and productive agricultural practices across the country. With the collaboration of high-level experts, the company continues to play a pivotal role in advancing agriculture in Chile.
