For the first time, the fair, organised by IFEMA MADRID and FEPEX, will occupy nine pavilions in the Madrid venue, making the city the world epicentre for the marketing of fresh produce.
Madrid, June 27, 2023.- Three and a half months before the start of the 15th Anniversary of Fruit Attraction - from October 3 to 5 - and still in the full marketing phase, the fair has already exceeded the total occupancy of its last edition, registering 58,700 square meters of fruit and vegetable offerings. Figures that will foreseeably continue to grow in the coming weeks.
The commitment and confidence of companies in the sector in this major international event, with the consequent growth in its surface area, has pushed IFEMA MADRID and FEPEX, the organisers of the fair, to incorporate Hall 1 of the Madrid venue to accommodate new companies and distribute participation in a coherent manner. For the first time, Attraction 2023 will occupy 9 pavilions - 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 - turning the city into a global epicentre for the marketing of fresh products.
On this occasion, Hall 1 will be for companies in the Fresh Produce area. Hall 3 will host the Valencian Community, Italy and participants from the Auxiliary Industry area. Hall 5 will host Castilla La Mancha, La Rioja, Extremadura, the Canary Islands and some organisations, in addition to the Innovation part of the fair: Smart Agro and Biotech Attraction.
In the case of Murcia, it will occupy pavilion 7, and Andalusia 9, both also with companies
Auxiliary Industry. For its part, the even-numbered pavilions will house the Fresh Food Logistics area and the
participation of the southern hemisphere - Hall 4; Catalonia, France, Holland and Belgium - Hall 6; Portugal, Italy and Germany, among others, and Ecorganic and Auxiliary Industry - Hall 8. Finally, Hall 10 will be reserved for national and international production companies and Auxiliary Industry companies.
With a total participation forecast of 1,800 companies, the Fresh Produce Area has registered an increase of 5.51%3T compared to the previous year, representing more than 69%3T of the fair. In the case of the Auxiliary Industry Area, which represents 25%3T, it points to growth in two of its sectors: Biotech Attraction, 12.51%3T, and Smart Agro, 10%3T. The Fresh Food Logistics Area also records an increase of more than 23%3T, with the participation of 43 companies.

In terms of its impact on international participation, it currently has 47 countries represented*, making Fruit Attraction the key trade event for global production, marketing and distribution.
