The seminar “Water efficiency and access to groundwater in agriculture” was an excellent day of learning, attended by the agricultural engineer, consultant and specialist in deciduous fruit trees, Jordi Casas, the agricultural development coordinator at OLIVOS Riego, Mauricio Calderón and Daniel Cabrera, geophysicist and executive director of Aquadetect.
More than 50 attendees attended talks with a comprehensive and practical perspective on the challenges and solutions surrounding water use efficiency in traditional and modern agriculture. Without a doubt, this is an initiative that contributes to observing, measuring and evaluating soils and irrigation, as it is a key aspect and a powerful tool in the face of a changing climate scenario.
