Rebeca Gálvez is a prominent businesswoman and entrepreneur, recognized for her work at the head of Patagonia Biotechnology and FERTUM, two leading companies in the biotechnology and agriculture sectors.

“We realized that this was a diamond in the rough, or as I like to say, green gold. These seaweed extracts contain many micro and macro elements. They survive cold temperatures, currents and have phytohormones, which allow seaweed to grow up to 6 meters in summer. Seaweed has long been used as a fertilizer, but applying it dry to the soil is different than applying it as a product that is hydrolyzed, which is transformed into a soluble product and is 100% available for plants,” said the businesswoman in an interview with Zoom País of La Tercera.
