MIP Agro, a leader in innovative agricultural solutions, carried out a trial, together with Avium, to improve the homogeneity of the fruit's colour and, therefore, optimise the harvest. This project was carried out in a commercial cherry orchard located in Molina, Maule Region, focusing on the Regina and Santina varieties.
The main purpose of this trial was to evaluate the effect of Brasstec, a product distributed by MIP Agro, in homogenizing fruit color. This process is essential not only to improve crop quality, but also to reduce operational costs and potentially speed up the fruit harvesting process. Achieving greater color homogeneity allows for more efficient harvesting and ultimately better return prices for producers.
During the trial conducted with the Avium team, Brasstec's performance was compared with other fruit quality variables, ensuring a comprehensive assessment of its impact on the harvest. Preliminary results indicate that Brasstec plays a significant role in homogenizing fruit color, which could translate into a substantial improvement in harvest efficiency.
The commercial orchard used as a test site provided a practical and representative environment to evaluate product performance.
