Post-harvest is a time of special attention for cherry trees, since the plants have just finished spending a huge amount of energy to reach the required size, maturity and health of the fruit; and they must quickly refocus on root development that will allow them to recover and capture nutrients to generate the necessary reserves to achieve optimal sprouting in the following season, also having to do this facing months of intense abiotic stress, such as high temperatures, solar radiation, water stress, etc.
Biolife Rhizo It is a highly concentrated biological formulation, composed of a consortium of specific beneficial microorganisms that associate with the roots, promoting their growth and establishing a soil-microorganism-plant interaction that contributes to plant nutrition through an increase in nutrient uptake. In addition, the microorganisms that make up this formulation have been shown to induce abiotic stress resistance systems by activating metabolic pathways that help the plant better defend itself against adverse environmental conditions.
The recommendation for the application of Biolife Rhizo At this stage of the crop, the dose is 500g/ha via irrigation once the harvest is finished, and the same dose is repeated towards the end of summer (2nd half of February, beginning of March). Optionally and depending on the needs of each orchard, it is very favorable to make an intermediate application complemented with Biolife N-Fix, which provides a high concentration of diazotrophic bacteria that are highly efficient in capturing atmospheric nitrogen and that help mineralize the nitrogen present in the soil, making it available to be captured by plants, providing a controlled supply of this nutrient, helping in the accumulation of reserves before the winter break.
This way Biolife Rhizo It is capable of strengthening plants, allowing them to perform optimally in their physiological functions, preparing them to better withstand winter, and ensuring a good awakening in spring.
