Xin Nan Sha arrived with the last cherry of the season

During week 8, the last ship with Chilean cherries arrived in China.

The 2022-23 cherry campaign is already in the final stages; this week, what should be the last ship, Xin Nan Sha, arrived at the port of Shanghai, with the equivalent of a container of cherries. This ship also brings other species that follow the cherry season, such as sweet plums and nectarines, which have already been in the main markets in China for weeks.

As for prices, there was an increase of 10-20 rmb, in general, for 2.5 kg boxes, mainly Regina.

As of February 25, the Saturday at the close of week 8, there was practically no information on general cherry market reports, another sign that the season is coming to an end.

This is how the 22-23 season ends, which has undoubtedly been a good season, where the ghost of Covid-19 and the logistical complications associated with the pandemic experienced during the previous two seasons were gradually left behind.
