It is a product based on chitosan, derived from chitin, obtained from the shells of shrimp and prawns extracted from the Chilean coast.
This polysaccharide (Poly-D. glucosamide) stimulates the activity of beneficial microorganisms in the soil such as Bacillus, Pseudomonas, Actinomycetes, Mycorrhizae and Rhizobium, acting as a conditioner of the root environment and enhancing the growth of plant roots. Biomovens induces the plant immune system (SAR), promotes the transcription of defense proteins, such as, for example, phytoalexins, which are plant antibodies, and also anti-stress proteins, which aim to provide stability in photosynthetic activity and also produce plant strengthening.
On the other hand, chitin causes the proliferation of bacteria and actinomycetes that feed on the chitin present in nematodes and insect eggs, thus preventing their proliferation.
