Orius® 43 SC is a systemic fungicide, inhibitor of ergosterol biosynthesis, with a long residual effect. It has a broad spectrum of protective and curative action (1); controlling diseases in Vineyards, Vineyards and Stone Fruit Trees and Forest Plantations of Pine and Eucalyptus and their nurseries.

(1) Curative Action: Curative action is understood as the inhibition of the development of the fungus before producing the infection (pre-symptom) and not after it.

Like all triazoles, ORIUS® 43 SC belongs to the group that interferes with ergosterol biosynthesis, very specifically inhibiting demethylation at C14. The inhibition of ergosterol biosynthesis, which is a natural constituent of cell walls, causes considerable disruption of the multiple functions of the membranes, which leads to the loss of their functionality and, as a final result, the total halt of the internal growth of the fungus.
