{"id":57764,"date":"2026-08-11T11:12:11","date_gmt":"2026-08-11T15:12:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/smartcherry.cl\/?p=57764"},"modified":"2026-08-11T11:12:14","modified_gmt":"2026-08-11T15:12:14","slug":"proyecto-entrega-nuevas-herramientas-para-fortalecer-el-potencial-de-almacenamiento-y-mantener-la-calidad-de-la-cereza-chilena","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/smartcherry.cl\/en\/noticias\/proyecto-entrega-nuevas-herramientas-para-fortalecer-el-potencial-de-almacenamiento-y-mantener-la-calidad-de-la-cereza-chilena\/","title":{"rendered":"Proyecto entrega nuevas herramientas para fortalecer el potencial de almacenamiento y mantener la calidad de la cereza chilena"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>La calidad, condici\u00f3n y capacidad de almacenamiento contin\u00faan siendo factores decisivos para la competitividad internacional de la cereza chilena, especialmente frente a mercados cada vez m\u00e1s exigentes y destinos que requieren largos per\u00edodos de transporte.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En este contexto, investigadores, profesionales, asesores t\u00e9cnicos y representantes de la industria se reunieron en Curic\u00f3 para conocer los resultados del proyecto e iniciativa Corfo\u00a0<strong>\u201cAumento del potencial de almacenamiento y de la calidad general de cerezas\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De acuerdo a lo informado por Frutas de Chile, el seminario de cierre, organizado por el Centro de Fruticultura Sur, se realiz\u00f3 en dependencias de la planta de Copefrut, en la Regi\u00f3n del Maule, y permiti\u00f3 presentar tecnolog\u00edas y conocimientos desarrollados durante la ejecuci\u00f3n del proyecto, junto con analizar los desaf\u00edos que enfrenta actualmente la industria exportadora.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Uno de los principales objetivos de la iniciativa fue generar conocimiento aplicado y herramientas que contribuyan a preservar la calidad de la fruta y aumentar su potencial de almacenamiento, aspectos especialmente relevantes para una industria que necesita asegurar que las cerezas lleguen a destino manteniendo los atributos demandados por consumidores y compradores internacionales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La jornada comenz\u00f3 con la bienvenida de la coordinadora del Centro Fruticultura Sur,\u00a0Claudia Jorquera, seguida de la presentaci\u00f3n de la directora del proyecto,\u00a0Dra. Mar\u00eda Eugenia Gonz\u00e1lez, acad\u00e9mica e investigadora de la Universidad de Concepci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La especialista abord\u00f3 el uso de tecnolog\u00edas emergentes y dispositivos destinados a determinar y predecir par\u00e1metros de calidad en cerezas, herramientas que pueden contribuir a mejorar la toma de decisiones durante el proceso productivo y de postcosecha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La investigadora destac\u00f3 adem\u00e1s la importancia de generar conocimiento aplicado que permita fortalecer la competitividad de la industria cerecera chilena frente a las nuevas exigencias de los mercados internacionales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tambi\u00e9n particip\u00f3 el\u00a0Dr. Juan Ca\u00f1umir, investigador y acad\u00e9mico de la Universidad de Concepci\u00f3n, quien present\u00f3 el desarrollo y evaluaci\u00f3n de una c\u00e1mara de enfriamiento alimentada mediante energ\u00eda solar, dise\u00f1ada para reducir la temperatura de campo de la fruta directamente en los huertos de cerezo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Este tipo de soluciones resulta relevante considerando que el manejo adecuado de la temperatura desde las primeras etapas posteriores a la cosecha es determinante para conservar la calidad y condici\u00f3n de la fruta durante el almacenamiento y transporte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Mayor vida de postcosecha<br><\/strong>Un segundo bloque estuvo dedicado a las tecnolog\u00edas y estrategias destinadas a aumentar el potencial de almacenamiento y conservar la calidad de las cerezas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El\u00a0Dr. V\u00edctor Escalona, director del proyecto, acad\u00e9mico e investigador de la Universidad de Chile, present\u00f3 las principales tecnolog\u00edas de postcosecha evaluadas durante la iniciativa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El trabajo apunta a entregar herramientas que permitan prolongar la calidad de las cerezas y, con ello, ampliar las posibilidades comerciales y el acceso a mercados internacionales que presentan mayores distancias y tiempos de tr\u00e1nsito.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La mirada productiva desde las regiones del sur del pa\u00eds tambi\u00e9n estuvo presente. El\u00a0Dr. (c) Ariel Mu\u00f1oz, investigador de la Universidad de La Frontera, present\u00f3 distintas estrategias de manejo en campo orientadas a mejorar la calidad y condici\u00f3n de las cerezas producidas en la zona sur de Chile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La tem\u00e1tica adquiere especial relevancia frente a la expansi\u00f3n que ha experimentado el cultivo hacia nuevas zonas productivas, donde las condiciones agroclim\u00e1ticas plantean oportunidades, pero tambi\u00e9n desaf\u00edos diferenciados en materia de calidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Industria y academia analizan los desaf\u00edos de la exportaci\u00f3n<br><\/strong>El cierre t\u00e9cnico del seminario estuvo marcado por el panel\u00a0\u201cPerspectivas de mercado y nuevos desaf\u00edos para la cereza de exportaci\u00f3n\u201d, que reuni\u00f3 a representantes de distintas compa\u00f1\u00edas vinculadas al sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La conversaci\u00f3n cont\u00f3 con la participaci\u00f3n de\u00a0Jaime Crispi, de Surfrut; Sergio Gonz\u00e1lez, de Frusan; Pamela Osorio, de Ranco Cherries; y Katherin Acosta, de Monfrut, bajo la moderaci\u00f3n del Dr. V\u00edctor Escalona.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El encuentro permiti\u00f3 generar un di\u00e1logo entre la academia y el sector productivo en torno a los desaf\u00edos que enfrenta la cereza chilena en materias como calidad, postcosecha, innovaci\u00f3n y mercados.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Precisamente, uno de los principales aportes del proyecto ha sido fortalecer la vinculaci\u00f3n entre la investigaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica y las necesidades concretas de
