El verano se caracteriza por presentar condiciones clim\u00e1ticas extremas que, sumadas a factores de manejo, pueden generar o potenciar el estr\u00e9s abi\u00f3tico en las distintas especies frutales. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Durante esta etapa se registran las mayores temperaturas y radiaciones, las menores humedades relativas y la m\u00e1xima demanda h\u00eddrica del a\u00f1o, especialmente en frutales que se encuentran en pleno crecimiento o llenado de frutos. Exceptuando las especies en postcosecha, es un per\u00edodo clave en la definici\u00f3n de la producci\u00f3n del huerto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alcanzar el potencial productivo bajo estas condiciones exige una correcta definici\u00f3n y ejecuci\u00f3n de manejos como riego, nutrici\u00f3n y bioestimulaci\u00f3n, orientados a asegurar calibre y condici\u00f3n de fruta seg\u00fan las particularidades de cada especie y zona productiva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La bioestimulaci\u00f3n tiene como objetivo principal aminorar los efectos negativos del estr\u00e9s abi\u00f3tico y complementar la respuesta de la planta frente a factores bi\u00f3ticos. Hoy, este enfoque debe considerar de manera integrada la interacci\u00f3n entre suelo, biota, planta y ambiente, ya que ignorar alguno de estos componentes puede traducirse en menor eficiencia productiva, p\u00e9rdida de calidad o incluso inviabilidad del huerto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En este contexto, la osmoprotecci\u00f3n corresponde a la respuesta fisiol\u00f3gica de las plantas frente al estr\u00e9s abi\u00f3tico, mediante la s\u00edntesis o activaci\u00f3n de osmolitos. Estos compuestos protegen el sistema fotosint\u00e9tico, mantienen la integridad de membranas y tejidos, sostienen la actividad metab\u00f3lica e inhiben la acci\u00f3n de especies reactivas responsables de da\u00f1os fisiol\u00f3gicos y productivos. Los osmolitos pueden tener distintos or\u00edgenes, como az\u00facares solubles, polioles, poliaminas y amino\u00e1cidos, adem\u00e1s de interactuar con fitohormonas, nutrientes y metabolitos microbianos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cuando las temperaturas alcanzan sus m\u00e1ximos, el riego es el punto de partida para sostener la actividad metab\u00f3lica. Sin embargo, suelos con baja capacidad de retenci\u00f3n pueden limitar el suministro h\u00eddrico y nutricional. Por ello, es clave asegurar un equilibrio adecuado entre agua, aire y suelo, junto con promover la actividad microbiol\u00f3gica, generando suelos con caracter\u00edsticas prebi\u00f3ticas que potencien la acci\u00f3n de la biota ben\u00e9fica en la riz\u00f3sfera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Suelos con buena estructura, drenaje y alta actividad microbiol\u00f3gica explican una mejor respuesta de los huertos frente a condiciones extremas como salinidad, escasez h\u00eddrica y altas temperaturas. En este escenario, herramientas como Cente\u00f3n Max\u00ae WP y Azokop\u00ae han permitido mejorar la respuesta fisiol\u00f3gica de las plantas y alcanzar niveles productivos sustentables bajo estr\u00e9s abi\u00f3tico permanente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cente\u00f3n Max\u00ae WP, formulado con Trichoderma virens<\/em> and Bacillus subtilis<\/em>, promueve una r\u00e1pida respuesta radicular, mejora la actividad fotosint\u00e9tica y favorece plantas m\u00e1s equilibradas frente al estr\u00e9s. Su dosis de inoculaci\u00f3n es de 2 kg\/ha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Azokop\u00ae, mezcla de dos cepas de Azospirillum brasilense<\/em>, estimula el desarrollo de pelos radicales mediante la s\u00edntesis de auxinas, mejorando la absorci\u00f3n de agua, nutrientes y metabolitos, lo que se ha reflejado en incrementos de materia seca a igualdad de calibre. Su dosis recomendada es de 2 a 3 L\/ha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Para asegurar una r\u00e1pida colonizaci\u00f3n de estos microorganismos, el suelo debe aportar prebi\u00f3ticos de f\u00e1cil disponibilidad. En este contexto, B Soil\u00ae act\u00faa como mejorador de suelo y prebi\u00f3tico, favoreciendo la bioqu\u00edmica del suelo y la actividad de la biota nativa e inoculada. Su dosis referencial es de 10 L\/ha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Desde el punto de vista foliar, existen diversas herramientas que permiten aminorar el impacto del estr\u00e9s, como amino\u00e1cidos, polioles, poliaminas y az\u00facares solubles, adem\u00e1s de elementos moduladores como calcio. Estas herramientas deben integrarse como complemento a los manejos productivos y al uso de fitorreguladores, especialmente cuando se requiere mantener un metabolismo vegetal activo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dentro de este grupo destacan Beta Protect\u00ae, bioestimulante formulado con glicina beta\u00edna y amino\u00e1cidos, que act\u00faa frente a temperaturas extremas, d\u00e9ficit h\u00eddrico y salinidad, protegiendo el fotosistema II y manteniendo la turgencia celular. Su dosis foliar es de 300 cc\/hL y puede aplicarse de manera preventiva o v\u00eda riego.
Sugarplex Reflexo\u00ae, formulado con zinc y polioles, contribuye a prevenir da\u00f1os por alta radiaci\u00f3n y temperaturas, reduciendo el golpe de sol en frutos. Su dosis foliar es de 1,5 a 2 L\/ha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ascofol\u00ae, elaborado a partir de Ascophyllum nodosum<\/em>, conserva metabolitos con acci\u00f3n bioestimulante y osmoprotectora. Enriquecido con zinc, manganeso y boro, puede aplicarse tanto v\u00eda foliar como al suelo, con una dosis foliar de 300 cc\/hL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kelpura\u00ae, extracto de Ecklonia maxima<\/em>, aporta compuestos bioestimulantes, poliaminas y florotaninos con efecto osmoprotector, favoreciendo el crecimiento, la terminaci\u00f3n de la fruta y la postcosecha. Su dosis foliar es de 300 cc\/hL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finalmente, Probo 53 VF, bioestimulante a base de extractos vegetales, aporta metabolitos y precursores hormonales que apoyan la recuperaci\u00f3n de tejidos y la actividad reproductiva en etapas cr\u00edticas. Su dosis foliar es de 500 cc\/ha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La implementaci\u00f3n de estas herramientas debe evaluarse siempre seg\u00fan las condiciones espec\u00edficas de cada huerto, considerando microbioma del suelo, carga frutal, condiciones edafoclim\u00e1ticas y susceptibilidad varietal. En general, las estrategias preventivas resultan m\u00e1s eficientes que las correctivas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
