En el presente documento encontrar\u00e1n las proyecciones realizadas por el agroclimatol\u00f3logo Patricio Gonz\u00e1lez, quien afirma que los modelos climatol\u00f3gicos han acertado en cuanto a la presencia del evento fr\u00edo La Ni\u00f1a durante esta primavera. Por otra parte, las tendencias probabil\u00edsticas ratifican m\u00e1ximas diarias superiores a los 28\u00b0 C desde la segunda semana de noviembre en Curic\u00f3, impactando en la evapotranspiraci\u00f3n de los frutales.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This agroclimatological report has two objectives:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1.- Proyecciones, para noviembre de 2025, respecto a la evoluci\u00f3n del evento fr\u00edo La Ni\u00f1a.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2.- Ambientes agroclimatol\u00f3gicos que podr\u00edan caracterizar a noviembre 2025, a la provincia de Curic\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proyecciones del evento fr\u00edo La Ni\u00f1a noviembre 2025<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Los modelos climatol\u00f3gicos han acertado respecto al desarrollo del evento fr\u00edo La Ni\u00f1a durante la primavera de 2025. A partir de septiembre y, durante todo octubre, las temperaturas en oc\u00e9ano Pac\u00edfico ecuatorial central han estado -0.5\u00b0 C bajo el promedio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El gr\u00e1fico indica que existe una probabilidad sobre el 70% que se extienda hasta diciembre y un 58% que siga hasta febrero del 2026. Este escenario ha generado los ambientes que han caracterizado a octubre, con una muy baja ocurrencia de lluvias: 13,8 mil\u00edmetros para una normal de 24,9 mil\u00edmetros (44,2% d\u00e9ficit).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En cuanto a las temperaturas, octubre estuvo m\u00e1s fr\u00edo que el 2024. El promedio de las m\u00ednimas fue de 8,7\u00b0 C en 2025 (2024 alcanz\u00f3 a 9.7\u00b0 C). En lo que respecta a las m\u00e1ximas, en 2024 el promedio registr\u00f3 23,4\u00b0 C; en cambio este a\u00f1o 2025 octubre baj\u00f3 a 22.6\u00b0 C. Inclusive el a\u00f1o pasado hubo m\u00e1ximas de 30.9\u00b0 C; este a\u00f1o solo se lleg\u00f3 a 27.9\u00b0 C. Todo lo anterior sumado a d\u00edas m\u00e1s nublados. Estas condiciones podr\u00edan atribuirse al desarrollo del evento fr\u00edo La Ni\u00f1a.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proyecciones noviembre 2025<\/em><\/strong>
El mes de noviembre se proyecta como el de transici\u00f3n al verano. Por lo anterior debieran empezar a predominar cielos m\u00e1s despejados y temperaturas m\u00e1ximas que se aproximen a valores en torno a los 30\u00b0 C, e inclusive un par de grados superiores. De hecho, el d\u00eda 2 se midieron 29\u00b0 C.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Analizando las tendencias probabil\u00edsticas, Curic\u00f3 debiera empezar a mantener rangos de temperaturas m\u00e1ximas diarias superiores a los 28\u00b0 C desde la segunda semana de noviembre. Lo anterior debiera tener un impacto en la evapotranspiraci\u00f3n de los frutales: valores entre 5 a 7 mil\u00edmetros diarios har\u00e1n imprescindible mantener vigilancia sobre el riego y en las estrategias de uso racional del agua.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Al 31 de octubre s\u00f3lo han precipitado 491,3 mil\u00edmetros (el a\u00f1o 2024 era de 589,4 mm). El d\u00e9ficit alcanza al 15,1%. M\u00e1s al sur, Talca, el d\u00e9ficit sube al 25,8%. A Curic\u00f3 le faltan 104,7 mil\u00edmetros para terminar como a\u00f1o normal; dadas las actuales circunstancias de bloqueos de las altas presiones, forzadas por el evento fr\u00edo La Ni\u00f1a, es altamente probable que Curic\u00f3, y el Maule en su conjunto, termine con d\u00e9ficit de lluvias y nieve en la cordillera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En cuanto a Grados-d\u00eda (base 10\u00b0 C), a la fecha se suman 248,7 GDA. De 76,2 GD en septiembre se elev\u00f3 bruscamente a 172,5 GD durante octubre. Lo anterior indica que, probablemente, en noviembre se sobrepasen los 350 GDA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lo normal de lluvias en noviembre son 9,1 mil\u00edmetros. Por lo anterior, es probable que durante los primeros 15 d\u00edas del mes se puedan registrar entre 3 a 7 mil\u00edmetros de lluvia, en forma espor\u00e1dica y puntual en algunas \u00e1reas de la Regi\u00f3n del Maule. Las altas temperaturas, posterior a esa fecha, hacen escasas las probabilidades de lluvias que puedan generar alg\u00fan da\u00f1o a los frutales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finalmente, se recomienda tener especial cuidado con el uso del agua para riego. Las condiciones de nieve est\u00e1n muy por debajo de lo normal y todos los modelos probabil\u00edsticos proyectan que las condiciones de sequ\u00edas y mega sequ\u00edas, que se iniciaron el 2007, contin\u00faen en los pr\u00f3ximos a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cualquier iniciativa tecnol\u00f3gica para optimizar los sistemas de riego, como el cuidado y mantenci\u00f3n de canales transmisores, ser\u00e1n de gran utilidad para evitar p\u00e9rdidas innecesarias de agua en el transporte al predio agr\u00edcola. La tecnificaci\u00f3n est\u00e1 siendo una inversi\u00f3n estrat\u00e9gica, para quienes a\u00fan no la hacen, para adaptarse a la escasez h\u00eddrica que se proyecta.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
